Warped Ones is a long running group of multi-shaft weavers within NOSSG. Each year we choose to do an in depth study of a particular area in weaving. This past year was about weaving for, and constructing garments. Although only some of us have completed this project, we have decided postpone further group work on this topic in order to study Madelyn van der Hoogt's Complete Book of Drafting for Handweavers. We will be studying it chapter by chapter throughout 2021. We currently meet through Zoom, but have traditionally met in member's homes.

The Natrual Dyers is a group of textile artists that are interested in the study of natural dye materials. We use mostly dye materials that are readily available for collecting from our gardens, back yards and forests. We meet at people’s homes and everyone brings equipment to set up for a “Dye Day”. The person that hosts usually decides on the dye materials to be used and collected for that day. We bring our own fiber.

Weekend Weavers is an offshoot of Weavers Anonymous. Weekend Weavers accommodates those who cannot make it during the week or missed a Weavers Annymous meeting. It is a beginner weaving group for people with multi-shaft looms. This to be a structured group starting with parts of the loom and ending with a woven project. There are mentors helping the group along.
